Configuration.h pour imprimante 3D JG Aurora A-3

2015-08-29 01.26.07Je viens d'acheter une imprimante 3D ! J'en ferai une petite review sur le blog si j'ai le temps, mais en attendant voici un petit blog rapide sur sa reconfiguration.

L'imprimante que j'ai choisie est un dérivé de Reprap Prusa i3, plus particulièrement une JG Aurora A-3. C'est donc un clone chinois d'une imprimante open-source et celle-ci utilise d'ailleurs le firmware open-source Marlin.

Certains paramètres de ce firmware ne sont pas bien configurés par le constructeur. D'autres paramètres sont aussi destinés à être calibrés pour chaque imprimante. Mais cet abruti de constructeur, en désaveu total de la license GPL de ce firmware, refuse de m'envoyer les fichiers nécessaires!


En réalité un seul fichier du firmware m'intéresse, car il contient tous les paramètres et caractéristiques propres à l'imprimante. Il contient par exemple les dimensions de l'imprimante, le sens et vitesse de rotation des moteurs, les températures par défaut...

Comme le constructeur refusait de m'envoyer ce fichier, j'ai dû faire un peu de reverse engineering (et quelques essais-erreurs) pour éditer mon propre Configuration.h. Je le partage donc avec l'Internet dans le but d'aider un autre geek dans le besoin. Ce fichier devrait être compatible avec la plupart des Prusa i3 et leurs clones, en particulier les clones chinois.

Liste des modifications effectuées

  • Ligne 31 : Petit clin d'oeil à l'auteur
  • Ligne 51 : Le constructeur n'a même pas pensé à mettre le nom de l'imprimante ici... Par défaut l'écran dit "Mendel ready" ce qui trahit entièrement l'utilisation de ce firmware open-source.
  • Ligne 47 : Choix de la carte mère électronique (ici un clone de MKS BASE qui est compatible RAMPS 1.4)
  • Lignes 107-110 : Utilisation de thermistors 100k
  • Lignes 320-323 : Orientation des axes pour le sens de rotation des moteurs
  • Lignes 337-342 : Taille du plateau d'impression, maximisé entre les vis
  • Lignes 466-473 : Décalage de la home position. C'est pour changer ces paramètres que j'ai voulu reprogrammer le firmware !
  • Ligne 482 : Calibration de la rotation des moteurs. Ces valeurs sont calibrées pour mon imprimante et pourraient être à réviser selon les poulies et courroies.

La politique idiote et illégale de ce constructeur chinois m'a fait perdre un peu de temps et quelques essais-erreurs. Heureusement je n'ai pas abimé ma machine durant la procédure (sauf deux crashs en bout d'axe :D). Pour ce genre de matériel destiné aux makers et thinkerers, il est totalement stupide de ne pas fournir ce fichier avec l'imprimante puisqu'il est nécessaire à certaines calibrations dans le cadre de l'utilisation normale de la machine.

Je publie donc ce fichier, sous license GPLv3, dans l'espoir d'aider le prochain confronté à cette société.

    Merci pour cette contribution; je pense qu'elle sera très utile à beaucoup pour la maîtrise de la machine.
    J'ai fait les tests comme indiqué sur les vidéos, mais le moteur X part à droite au lieu de partir à gauche... et comme il n'y a pas de fin de course à droite, il patine, ce qui ne doit pas être bon pour la courroie.
    Le problème est que je n'ose pas trop charger le fichier configuration.h : j'ai découvert une possibilité à partir de Cura (machine->installer un firmware maison) ou à partir du soft d'Arduino pour lequel j'ai coché Outils>type de carte : Arduino Mega 2560 or Mega ADK
    ...et Outils>port série : /dev/cu.usbserial-AL01R2TA (qui s'en va dès que je débranche l'USB, donc je dois être bon pour la carte)
    Si je me lance (conseil sur l'une ou l'autre méthode?) j'ai peur de me retrouver avec tes paramètres qui ne correspondent peut-être pas à ma machine (JG Aurora A-3 - janvier2015).
    Je ne suis malheureusement pas ingénieur et le moindre écueil est pour moi une grosse dépense d'énergie.
    Peux-tu me conseiller?

    Ça y est ! J'ai contourné le problème en inversant les 4 fils du moteur Z; auto-home fonctionne désormais... Je suis toujours preneur de la solution pour accéder au fichier Configuration.h

    dite vous auriez quelques photos à me passer pour le câblage de la buse sur la carte ? Je suis en galère je n'ai reçu aucun schéma de montage ... et du coup là il me manque de placer le capteur limite en x ... j'ai essayé de le placé un peu aléatoirement 🙂 ... j'ai déjà pas mal câblé en essayant d'imaginer la logique de positionnement ... bon y a que l'extrudeur où j'ai un peu peur de pas brancher dans le bon sens 🙂

J'ai la même imprimante, j'essayé de suivre votre solution de centrer la plaque d'impression, ayant le même problème, mais je l'ai fait quelque chose de mal et détruit le firmware de l'imprimante. Je peux me connecter à l'imprimante, mais ne pas avoir le droit firmware à mettre et je ne pense pas que la société va me aider. S'il vous plaît, comment puis-je restaurer le firmware d'origine et où le drain. Je vous remercie d'avance pour votre aide.
